The Bill Buckley Memorial Trophy is the Second Division competition operated by the New South Wales Tertiary Student Rugby League. After strong growth within the Tertiary League over the first three seasons, the Bill Buckley Memorial Trophy first kicked off in 1973 providing a competition for senior clubs to run their reserve grade in, and for smaller clubs to compete in.
In 2013, the Bill Buckley Memorial Trophy will feature teams from Sydney and Canberra.
