If you are a Rugby League playing student, then why not give yourself the opportunity to represent your state.

In 2009 the NSW Students will clash with QLD Universities in the annual Universities Interstate match, which will be held in Queensland. The 2009 Australian Universities side will be chosen from this match and will be touring the South Pacific. (Dates and countries to be confirmed.)

Eligibility:
To be eligible for the NSW Students side, and ultimately the Australian side you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

• Be a current student attending University, TAFE or any recognized College of Tertiary education or to be an ex-student of any of the eligible institution and be graduated for less than 12 months.
  OR
  
• Attend any of the eligible Tertiary institutions for a minimum of eight hours per week for a minimum of one year.
  OR
• A current Uni, Tafe or recognized tertiary student playing in a current Rugby League club either within the NSW Tertiary Student Rugby League, any affiliated NSWRL A-Grade competition, Country Rugby League Senior competition, Jim Beam Cup, Toyota Cup or VB NSW Cup.

Important dates to take note if you are considering registering your interest for these sides

• The trail for NSW students side to play Queensland, we held on the Sunday 5th of April 2009. (Times and venue to be advised.)
• Mid May NSW Students vs. Queensland Universities Interstate match. (Date and venue to be advised.)
• July Australian tour of South Pacific. (Date and venue to be advised.)
• Once you are registered any changes will be forwarded to you by email to your given email address.

It is important that you consider the programme dates carefully and advise your current club of your intentions to seek an opportunity to represent your state and possibly Australia to avoid any problems with your availability on the nominated dates.

It is hoped your club will support your desire to play representative Rugby League.
