The penultimate round of the premiership competitions and a semi final berth is still in the balance for a number of teams in both divisions.
For the first time in a little while, the Sydney Uni Lions are back at St Johns Oval where they host the Tafe WS Polecats in both divisions. The Polecats look certain to get a place in the top two in both divisions but there is a lot on the line for the Lions. A win in firsts could see them sneak into second place whilst they must win the 2nds to hold onto fourth place.
At Blackmore Oval the UTS Tigers are at home to ACU in both divisions and ACU must win both matches if each side is to hold onto hope of making the semis. No easy task given the current form of both Tigers’ outfits.
The West Syd U Ducks host Cumberland College Beavers in their 1st Division clash at Bankstown Campus Oval and the visitors must win if they are to have any chance of making into 4th place. However, the Beavers seconds has thrown away any chance it had of a finals place unfortunately failing to get a team to travel to the ACT, forfeiting against the Uni Canberra Grizzlies.
